Indian-American Multi-Cultural Summer Wedding at the Omni Shoreham Hotel

E + A got married on a sunny summer day in July at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

This wedding was unique, as it was a combination of American and Indian traditions.

The night before the wedding, the family of the groom hosted an Indian style dinner, fully equipped with Indian traditions such as Henna.

The formal part of the wedding followed a ceremony, cocktail hour, reception flow of events, but the night transitions to a "friends reception" for the younger guests and friends of the family.

The formal reception was the only wedding day event that happened inside. The day was mostly clear, but the couple got just a spot of rain, which was good luck of course!

The night ended with a sparkler send-off.
